Privacy Policy for Fidget Tap

What Fidget Tap Stores

Fidget Tap stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local) and your browser's localStorage:

• Your tap counter (the number you've clicked the button)
• Your current theme preference (heart, coin, etc.)
• Your interaction mode preference (tap or fill-in)
• Your fill-in progress for each theme (which pixels you've filled in)

Data Retention

Data stays on your device until you reset it (the reset button in the extension), clear your browser data, or uninstall the extension.

What Fidget Tap Does NOT Do

• No data collection. We do not collect, transmit, or receive any of your data. Everything stays on your device.
• No analytics. We don't use Google Analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or any tracking.
• No third-party services. The extension does not communicate with any external servers during normal use.
• No account required. There is no login, no registration, no personal information requested.

The Donation Link

The extension includes an optional "Support Fidget Tap" link (in the popup and in the right-click menu) that opens an external, Stripe-hosted payment page in your browser. This link is user-initiated — it only activates when you click it. The payment is a voluntary donation or tip, not a purchase: nothing is required to use any part of Fidget Tap. Stripe processes payments on their own hosted page, and Stripe's privacy policy applies to the transaction. Fidget Tap does not send any data to Stripe.
